Markus Lipp works independently with a small number of clients each year. The work draws on more than two decades as a finance executive, including extended tenures as CEO and CFO of growth-stage and publicly reporting companies across Europe and the United States.

The intent is simple: bring that experience to clients on terms that suit serious, long-horizon work — turnaround situations, capital events, organisational redesign, and the quieter problems that come with running a finance function well.

Markus also teaches financial fundamentals to non-finance professionals through Stanford University's Continuing Studies programme, and writes occasionally on the craft of finance leadership.
